experience:
i started out as a full-time journalist in San Antonio, TX (my hometown), where i reported on local government, Latino issues, urban development, arts and culture, and more.
from there, i lived and worked as a copywriter in Mexico City, got my masters in Latin American studies, and started a newsletter of personal creative writing.
